My appointment for an oil change was in the afternoon, and took a little longer than usual. I had ask for them to check out why my tire indicator light was coming on, and while they checked my tire pressures, I was told at checkout that I would need to make another appointment to have sensors checked.

Vernon, in the service dept., was absolutely wonderful in assisting us with our concerns.

My purchase experience was excellent, Amy, Brenna, and David went above and beyond. I am however, disappointed in the post sale follow up. I haven’t received a call, text, or email from anyone from the dealership except for the Liquid Diamond department. I have no missed calls from the dealership, just nothing.

It was amazing. I have purchased several cars of the last ten years ago, and nothing comes close to the experience I had at Dan Cummins. Bonnie was my salesperson, and she was simply amazing from start to finish. Even the dreaded trip to finance was amazing. :-) They were extremely transparent and upfront every step along the way and made me feel at home. I love the overall atmosphere, from the gracious offering of snacks and drinks to the family friendly music playing. Just a great experience.

Drove 1and 1/2 hours to buy my truck had no clue how this would work out, I was so impressed with everyone's acceptance of me, I was there very early, so got to talk a few people (regular customers) witch was my plan. Then I met David, this young man was exactly who I needed this make this process go right for me, he listened to how I wanted to do this deal right to the end. Definitely felt like a customer and not just like another sale.

As soon as I arrived I didn’t have to wait long for Brandon Townsend, the salesman to meet with me. We discussed what I was looking for and how I wanted to trade my trailblazer for something a little bigger. Brandon showed me some options and I test drove a new equinox. I instantly knew this was the type of car I wanted. Brandon searched the website for the one I wanted. Since Dan Cummins didn’t have the exact color and one equipped with what I wanted, I show Brandon one I saw on another dealership’s lot. He worked with his manager and they made a trade to allow me to get the car I really wanted. This process took a while from then to trade, but Brandon kept me updated. Once the deal was final between dealers, Brandon delivered my new car to my house. I had a good experience and would recommend Dan Cummins as well as Brandon.

David Ramirez did an excellent job he was very professional and informative. He went out of his way to make sure every aspect of our deal was handled correctly.

I am satisfied with my vehicle purchase and believe the agreed-upon price was fair. However, several aspects of the overall process were disappointing and should be addressed to improve the customer experience. 1. Lack of Preparation Despite Pre-Approval and Advance Notice Prior to my visit, I submitted all necessary paperwork, including forms for financing pre-approval, and the price was agreed upon after the test drive. Given this preparation, I expected a streamlined process upon arrival. Unfortunately, nothing was ready when I arrived, leading to unnecessary delays. 2. Repeated Communication Issues Regarding Financing Preferences Throughout the visit, I had to reiterate multiple times to different individuals that I was only interested in the special GM financing offer. Despite this clear communication, I was repeatedly presented with lease and conventional loan options that I had already declined. It became frustrating enough that I had to interrupt conversations to refocus the discussion. Only after expressing significant frustration did I receive the GM financing details I had requested from the beginning. 3. Delays Caused by Internal Staff Discussions Further delays occurred when managers repeatedly entered private discussions in the glass office, locking out the sales staff. These interruptions directly impacted the flow of the paperwork process, forcing both me and my salesperson to wait unnecessarily. This happened multiple times and significantly prolonged the experience. 4. Subpar Vehicle Detailing at Delivery By the time my truck was brought around for delivery, it was nearly 7:30 PM. The promised “free fill-up and detailing” appeared rushed and incomplete. Sticker film and adhesive residue were still visible on both the inside and outside of the front windshield. Additionally, the truck bed had bird droppings, and there were noticeable black specks on the exterior of the vehicle. These details indicated that the vehicle had not been properly cleaned or prepared for delivery, which detracted from the final impression of the purchase experience. 5. Excessive Time Spent Despite Prior Arrangements From start to finish, the process took over 3 hours. Considering the purchase price had been agreed upon days in advance, a deposit was placed, and financing documentation had been submitted early, this timeline was excessive and avoidable.

I have voiced my opinion in 2 Google reviews. At this point saying I am dissatisfied would be the equivalent of saying 12th century mongols were a little aggressive. This has gone past the abilities of the service manager to resolve. I am going to finish the oil survey as planned, but that is in no way an indication that I plan on stopping or slowing down on my pursuit of resolution through arbitration or any legal channels available. I have spent 10’s of thousands of dollars in your dealership. I have sent countless costumers to you. I have purchased at several vehicles including my last 3 from you. The amount of disrespect and dismissal I have had is unconscionable. Right now, the way I feel, I will do everything I can to take away as much business as I can. I’m not delusional. I can’t shut your doors. However, it is impossible to measure the amount of customers that don’t buy from you. At this point my plan is to increase that number as much as possible with my experience. Dropped my Chevy Silverado off for a scheduled appointment. This appointment was for a simple oil change, transmission fluid change, and yearly overall review. After sitting down I remembered that my TPM’s on my recent trip appeared to not have been reset to show appropriate tire locations after having my tires rotated at a different establishment. Service personnel said they could do this and reset all TPM’s.

As usual, everyone we encountered were professional and kind.

Always an easy trip and fast

I was there for more than 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I don’t know if that’s typical but it seems like a long time. I received the link to check my service status but even after I left it showed my vehicle was still in the inspection process. On my receipt the mileage at intake was the same as the out mileage. But the actual mileage when I got my vehicle was 16 miles more than the intake mileage. So either the intake mileage was incorrect or someone took a ride in my vehicle?

Called on Friday afternoon, they had a spot available for sat morning, we took it. They had the part to fix it and was able to fix our Traverse. Was only there a couple of hours.

In and out even quicker than expected. Very pleased with the service.

They took care of my car service and ordered piece for my seat belt. They did a great job.

My issue is still present after 2 consecutive attempts.

People were very professional and very nice. But I drove two hours one way for two problems that was found during my first oil change for them to tell me that there was not a problem with my truck. It did effect my day and I had to miss a day of work.

We were early for our appointment. The dealership took us in and we were finished almost before our scheduled appointment.

Overstated “sight unseen” offer for trade. Had title and check cut from credit union in hand upon arrival. Lowered price of trade by $2200, even with clear pictures in hand prior to arrival. After having to argue for some time, gained $1750 of the requested $2200 back. Ended up paying out of pocket $750, spent 5 hours in dealership even though all components of deal were nearly done, and was made late to a family wake service that evening. All of this after driving three hours to reach dealership. Worst experience buying a car I have ever encountered. Never again from Cummins of Paris

My past experiences with vehicle purchases have been unpleasant and stressful due to sales associates being pushy and treating me like a number. I was honestly stressed and anxious when I went to Dan Cummins fearing the same treatment I received previously. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. My sales associate Brad made my experience very pleasant and enjoyable. We made a deal, but also sat and talked like old friends, because we both have raced dirt track cars and actually had a lot in common (though Brad is significantly younger than myself). I'm typically a very outspoken person when I am unhappy, but I honestly have nothing negative to say about my truck buying experience. Everyone, especially Brad did everything in their power to make me happy and I truly appreciate that. Thanks for treating me with respect. You have earned my future business.

I just had a routine service appointment with Cummins Chevy. I was met by Tony one of their service advisors. He quickly got me checked in and I went to the waiting room, got a cup of coffee and a snack and set down to watch TV and check my email. It didn't seem very long and the door opened and Tony was calling my name to say my vehicle was ready. They even washed it for me. Great service! Thanks for a job well done.

It was not pleasant at all The Lieing & Manipulation that the Service Team puts in place to con you into the $199.00 diagnostic testing is upsurb anything to cost you money and paid their pockets and their co-workers pockets it's like they totally ignore you when you tell them that you already know what the issue is and you just want them to fix whatever was never repaired and not fixed the last time but They was well aware that all these issues and repairs was wrong with this vehicle when I purchased instead of fixing and repairing them they left them go unfixed and now the same issues that I was experiencing then still exist now I feel that when I started bringing in my vehicle to have the repairs done while the warranty was in great milage standing I wouldn't be having these same issues but now that they want to base everything upon mileage then that's when the hefty out of pocket charges come into effect it's sickening how they get over on females with the lies and manipulation.They start off with well we gotta do our own diagnostic testing to make sure nothing else is contributing to the issues your having nothing is never covered under the Dealership Warranty that you pay for it just a money scheme with them and I bought my vehicle in on yesterday for the Air blower had went out and it was still up under warranty because they had previously installed a supposedly new one in February of last year But instead of honoring the the warranty that Buick had in place he used my Power train warranty instead and I was so he said was over the 8000 miles cap so he was wanted me to pay the $700.30 dollars the parts totaling was $99.92 and the labor was $600.38 netless to say they didn't replace my blower and still convinced me to pay the diagnostic charge of $192.39 your Service Manager Casey Ellis was well aware of what I was bringing my car in to have it serviced and was aware about everything and still allowed the Dealership to scam me so no I will never bring my vehicle in to ever have it serviced again nor will I refer Dan Cummings Paris to anyone and I will be filing a formal complaint

My overall experience at Dan Cummins was great.

Every time I have taken my car and got it back my check engine light has came back on a few days later. I took my car on 8/19/25 and got a purge valve fixed and the check engine light came right back on, on 8/21/25. The first time i got my car warranted was on 8/5/25 and have had the light come back on every time.

the only problem I had was that it took literally 6 hours to get it done and that took up my 1 day off but I did get the car I wanted and I will be back for my next car. Maybe it'll be more streamlined next time. But the associate Brandon was very helpful and sweet and Dan the financier was very informative and nice as well.

Our vehicle had a check engine light on dashboard. We were told it has been an issue with our 2017 model the diagnostic test said it was an O2 sensor, apparently it is important and when we got to the appointment the part was not in and we could not get an appointment for 2 weeks.

I came in to Dan Cummins Paris KY to get my first 15,000 mile maintenance visit. I was in and out. I pulled up, and Tony got me in immediately. I was done within 30 minutes. He told me rverything checked out perfect, and I was on my way. They are THEE BEST!

The process was clean and everything was explained well... They did a very good job through almost the whole process... Except... The one thing is we purchased the the "Dan Cummins Liquid Diamond Ceramic" and was told we would get a call from them (Ceramic group) to schedule a time to get it done, but have NOT !! .... Hence the 4-star instead of the full 5. I will eventually call but have had life going on... Note the vehicle we purchase was on Monday 01 Sept. 2025, so as of today it has been 9-Days

Emily (from the service desk) deserves a raise. She was very patient and understanding and went out of her way to try and explain everything I had a question for. No one else was helpful. I don't understand why they could not show me where on my car a piece was 'missing'/torn off. Prices kept getting added on to my service to the point I had to cancel it actually getting fixed. I only went here because of the warranty I have on my car. Subpar service and staff (excluding Emily).

Got me right in for full service, that part was great! I let them know that I am having issues with both key fobs unlocking the doors. Didn’t really get any help. They suggested new batteries, and I told them I’ve already tried that. They didn’t offer any other suggestions or to even look at the key fob. Most of the time I have to hit the lock and then the unlock to get the footed open. Some times that doesn’t work either, so I then use the button on the door handle and thankfully that works. I would really like to find a resolution for this very annoying problem.

I brought my truck in for a service and mentioned some symptoms I was having assuming it was a bad coil pack. It turned out I needed a new transmission. Tony, my point of contact with the service department kept me informed the whole time. After multiple emails and phone calls I was more than pleased to know that the drive train extended warranty I purchased from Dan Cummins on a pre owned vehicle was well worth it. I would highly encourage anyone who is in the market for a new vehicle to consider buying from Dan Cummins. And always bring your vehicle back to the dealer to have it serviced. It made things a lot easier when service records were being requested and reviewed.

Came in for a 90k mile service and oil change and was not informed prior to my appointment nor when I arrived that the service would last all day. Instead I had to remain at the dealership all day (8 hours) and was forced to miss a prior scheduled doctor appointment. Overall, I was highly dissatisfied and displeased with Dan Cummins.

I was very impressed from the time I reached out to Matti, to Brandon, to Matt, and to Trevor. Everyone was so cordial and helpful!

Don"t know if problem was fixed or not. No one sure exactly what caused the problem. Info on dash cleared and didn"t return after resetting 4 times.

Work was completed first time.

Our salesperson Braden was awesome but it was not a good experience overall. Firstly, we were there for a total of 5 hours from arrival until we finally left. Also, the experience with Finance was not pleasant. He was persistent on GAP insurance and got a little smart with my wife when she said it wasn’t worth the money and we didn’t need it. I get his job is to sell add-ons but once a customer says no, that should be the end of it. There’s no need for gaslighting. He also seemed offended when I stated we had the liquid diamond twice and it wasn’t worth the money either. As I said, not a pleasant experience. Now on to the issues with the brand new truck. It looked like it was detailed with a dirt covered rag and the inside wasn’t cleaned at all. There are swirl marks in the paint all down the driver side. This was pointed out to Braden and the floor manager. I now have to spend another day to take it back to Paris to get it buffed out. (I am preparing for another long day!) The brakes need bled. They’re awfully spongy and feel like there’s air in the line. My wife said the same thing. She has a new Suburban and her brakes are not like that. Lastly, there appears to be a leak coming from the cab lights on top. There is a noticeable water stain in that area. This too was pointed out after it was washed. As I stated, overall not a pleasant experience. After spending an entire day trying to buy a truck, I now have to spend MORE time to get issues rectified. That is unacceptable for a brand new truck that costs $70k.
