Charging: At home or on the go

HOME CHARGING

We know that up to 80% of charging is done at home. The fastest way to charge at home is using a Level 2 charger with a 240-volt appliance-like outlet or can be directly wired into your home. The availableDual Level Charger, our Level 1 charging option, works in most standard electrical outlets when connected with a 120-volt plus and is conveniently portable. The GM PowerUp 2 charger can also be paired with your my Chevrolet mobile app for smart charging capabilities. For a Level 2 Wall Charger with the option for vehicle-to-home (V2H) bidirectional charging, allowing you to provide power to your home and your EV, see the GM Energy PowerShift Charger.

PUBLIC CHARGING

Charging while you’re away from home is easy at over 250,000 publicly available charging points in the US and Canada. And to make charging even easier, the myChevrolet Mobile App with with Energy Assist * can help you plan the most efficient routes, find available charging stations and even pay for charging while you’re on the go.

*Available on select Apple and Android devices. Service availability, features and functionality vary by vehicle, device and the plan you are enrolled in. User terms apply. Device data connection required. See onstar.com for details and limitations.

HOME INSTALLATION

To make EV ownership as easy as possible, we work with our partner, Qmerit, to install your Dual Level Charger, Level 2 Charger, or GM PowerUp 2. Qmerit will assess your home, and then a licensed, insured and background-checked EV expert in your area will handle everything, from installation to pulling any permits required by your city or state.
