This two-seat sports car comes standard with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Some cite the absence of a manual transmission as a drawback, but that opinion is hardly universal given the incredibly quick-shifting nature of this dual-clutch unit. The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in two body styles. The first option is a two-seat and two-door coupe with a removable roof panel, and the second option is a two-seat and two-door hardtop convertible. This makes it only the second model year that the Corvette has offered a hardtop convertible, which was first introduced for the 2020 model. Said hardtop can be completely removed, folded, and stored behind the passenger seat and engine space, with the front trunk offering more storage space for anything else being carried.

The cabin is moved closer to the car's nose to allow for the engine's placement behind the seats. In addition to that, the focus of the cabin's interior is fully on driver comfort. There is a twelve-inch fully digital instrument cluster, showing all your vital information on an intuitive, high-resolution screen. A 4G LTE WiFi hotspot is available for up to seven devices. The standard Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system comes with an eight-inch touch screen, AM/FM stereo, and voice recognition. A Bose performance 14-speaker audio system ensures a crisp, clear sound for the entire ride. Up to two phones can be stored and saved for Bluetooth connectivity, giving the option to either driver or passenger to pick the music by using standard voice control.
